I started skiing when I was two years old and spent most of my younger years at Fortress Mountain in the Canadian Rocky Mountains lapping the backside chair. My parents were both ski racers, a passion that they inevitably passed on to me. However, most of our family vacations were spent marching around the backcountry at our family ski cabin Amiskwi Lodge and after highschool I was drawn away from the gates and into the pow for good.
In between ski days I attended the University of Calgary and received a BA in Communications and Culture in 2008. Since graduation I have worked and skied, signing with sponsors such as Arcteryx, Rossignol, Revelstoke Mountain Resort and Giro- filming with B4 Apres, Ride Guide and Sherpas Cinema and coordinating events for the likes of Revelstoke Mountain Resort/Freeride World Tour and various charities.
In 2011, I co-founded the Live It! Love It! Foundation in hopes of helping those with physical and mental challenges access adventure and the outdoors. One of my biggest joys is sharing my love for the mountains with others and I have spent the past eight years coaching for the Banff Alpine Racers, Rocky Mountain Freeriders, Whistler Freeride, Girls Day Out and Bhumi Mountain Camps.
I love writing and exploring new places and am happiest when I’m with friends and family, trying something new and snow is falling.
